Wedding etiquette

👗 Dress code

Festive, summer-like
Ladies, please strictly avoid black ⚫, red 🔴 and white ⚪ colours!

🎁 Gifting

  • The wedding gift
Should you wish to help us start our married life, please choose gifts that are small in size. All that fits in an envelope (real or digital), is what we can best invest and promise to do so in our family as a next step.
  • Entry fees to the dancefloor / Menyecsketánc (“Bridal” dance)
As the night commences, some form of bridal dance is customary. Around midnight, the guests may take their chance to a first dance with the wife. It is a true challenge, that comes at a small price - you may buy your chance in cash, or in scratch cards (lottery tickets).

🍽️ Food & 🍷 Drinks

Be prepared, Hungarian food is heavy.
We hope you like wine. The wedding venue is a wine cellar.
Be aware, that pálinka (schnapps) is the go-to drink. It is strong.
